Kotun majistire ta garin Eldoret da ke jihar Rift Valley ta yi umarnin tsare mutanen biyu na tsawon kwanaki 21, don ba da dama ga 'yan sanda su ci gaba da bincike kan kisan dan wasan tseren da ke da shekaru 34.
Wadanda ake zargin an kama su ranar Litinin, kuma an gurfanar da su a kotu da sunayensu, David Ekhai Lokere (mai lakabin Timo), dan shekara 25, da Peter Ushuru Khalumi, dan shekara 30.
An gano gawar Kiplagat a gefen titi a wajen birnin Eldoret da asubahin Lahadi, kuma an same shi da alamun suka a wuya.
Ba a san dalili ba
Yayin da ba a san dalilin yin kisan ba ya zuwa yanzu, 'yan sanda sun ce bincike ya nuna cewa mutanen biyu ne suka yi wa Kiplagat "kwanton bauna".
"Mutanen biyun da ake zargi sanannun masu laifi ne wadanda suka dade suna damun al'umma," in ji kwamandan 'yan sanmda ya shiyya, Stephen Okal da yake sanar da AFP a ranar Litinin.
Kiplagat, wanda aka haifa a Kenya, ya wakilci kasar Uganda a gasar tseren mita 3,000, da kuma a gasannin Olympic guda uku da gasanni shida na Duniya.
Ya ci kyautar azurfa a gasar tseren mita 3,000 a gasar Duniya ta Matsakaita ta 2008 da kuma kyautar tagulla Gasar ta Afirka a 2012.
'Tsananin bakin ciki'
Kiplagat ya kai matakin dab da na karshe a gasar Olympics ta 2012 a Landan, sannan ya fafata a gasar Olmpics ta 2016 a Rio.
Hukumar Wasanni ta Uganda ta fitar da sanarwa ranar Litinin inda ta bayyana "matukar bakin ciki da jimami" kan rasuwar Kiplagat.
