Ƙungiyar Raya Tattalin Arzikin Ƙasashen Yammacin Afirka (ECOWAS) ta naɗa Shugaban Senegal Bassirou Diomaye Faye a matsayin mai shiga tsakani na musamman don gamsar da ƙasashen Nijar da Mali da Burkina Faso da suka ɓalle, su sauya tunani su jingine shirin nasu.
A taron da ECOWAS ta yi a Abuja, babban birnin Nijeriya ranar Lahadi, ƙungiyar ta naɗa shugaban na Senegal ya jagoranci tawagar tattaunawar tare da haɗin gwiwar Shugaban Togo Faure Gnassingbe.
Ƙungiyar ta naɗa Faye a matsayin "wanda zai jagoranci tattauna wa da ƙungiyar Sahel Alliance AES (Nijar da Mali da Burkina Faso)," kamar yadda ECOWAS ta bayyana a sanarwar bayar taronta.
Faye na halartar taron na ECOWAS ne a karon farko tun bayan zaɓensa da aka yi a matsayin shugaban ƙasar ta Yammacin Afirka a watan Maris.
'Rashin jin daɗi'
Shugabannin ƙungiyar sun yi taron ne ranar Lahadi bayan ƙasashen uku da sojoji ke yi wa mulki, wato Nijar da Mali da Burkina Faso sun sanya hannu kan wata yarjejeniya ta kafa wata haɗaka da suka kira ƙungiyar Sahel of Alliance States ko kuma AES a taƙaice.
Sun ɓalle ne daga ƙungiyar ta Yammacin Afirka a watana Janairu bayan ƙuniyar ta ɗauki tsauraran matakai kan juyin mulkin da aka yi a ƙasashen.
Ƙungiyar da a asali take da mambobi 15, a yanzu ECOWAS ɗin na da mambobi 12 ne kawai, tun bayan ɓallewar ƙasashen uku.
Taron na ECOWAS ya bayyana "rashin jin daɗi" kan rashin samun wani ci gaba kan tattaunawar farko da ƙasashe da suka ɓalle.
Ta kuma umarci hukumar ƙungiyar ta tsara "wani shirin ko-ta-kwana ko da tattaunawar da ƙasashen uku ba ta yi nasara ba."
