Ezekwesili talk am on Saturday wen she appear for '60 Seconds with Kay,' one TV programme wey News Central do.

"Di only tin wey we fit give dem be say we dey get hold of macroeconomic stability," she talk.

"For example, di volatility wey we dey see with foreign exchange rates don quiet down because dem dey follow market principles for FX policies.

"Inflation, even though dem use di methodology crash am for numbers, di real tin be say di cost of living for di average citizen still dey high well well.

"By di way, dat inflation wey spike no need to happen, na poor management of combination of policies cause dat runaway kind of inflation wey we get."

Di former minister still talk say Nigeria dey suffer from structural misalignment because of wrong economic policy choices.

"We dey suffer from structural misalignment, wey come from plenty tins wey dem still no dey do well for economic policy choices," Ezekwesili talk.

She add say another issue na to dey run multiple budgets for di country.

Ezekwesili still talk say Nigerians wey dey live for poverty dey see elections as source of income.

She talk say di majority of Nigerians, about 64 percent or 145 million people, dey poor, and add say dem dey focus on how to survive each day.

"Dem no want anybody to disturb dem with oda tins. Di only time wey issues of governance matter to dem na elections and di elections don become market day wey dem fit use improve dia income by small small for dat day," Ezekwesili talk.
