Türkiye don ask Interpol make dem issue red notice for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu as part of ongoing prosecution over attack on activists aboard the Global Sumud Flotilla wey carry humanitarian aid go Gaza, Justice Minister Akin Gurlek talk.

For statement wey e post for Turkish social media platform NSosyal on Friday, Gurlek talk say judicial proceedings still dey before Istanbul's 11th High Criminal Court against 35 defendants, including Netanyahu and Afek Moskovitch, over the incident for international waters.

E talk say arrest warrants wey dem issue for Netanyahu and Moskovitch on July 14, 2026 on charge of "genocide" make Justice Ministry ask Interior Ministry make dem seek Interpol red notices for the two suspects.

Relevant documents don also forward go the foreign ministry, Gurlek add.

E talk say Netanyahu and Moskovitch dey prosecute for alleged actions wey involve "armed intervention against civilians delivering humanitarian aid to Gaza in international waters and the detention of activists."

Charges dem include "crimes against humanity", "genocide", "aggravated deprivation of liberty", "intentional injury", "torture", "property damage", "aggravated robbery" and "hijacking of means of transportation", he added.

"We no go allow the crimes wey dem commit for Gaza make dem cover dem or make those wey responsible dey protected by a shield of impunity," Gurlek talk.

"We go use all means wey dey available under national and international law," he added.

For November 2025, Türkiye issue arrest warrants for Netanyahu and several other suspects over their role in genocide in Gaza.

The warrants dem issue after dem do extensive investigation into Israel's "systematic" attacks on civilians in Gaza, acts of genocide and crimes against humanity.
