Disu talk am during di National Youth Leadership and Security Dialogue wey hold for Abuja yesterday say when politicians dey recruit youths to cause violence, e dey spoil dia future, while di politicians demself go later settle and reconcile.

To di youths, e advise dem make dem use dia influence for positive tins—like entrepreneurship, technology, education, creativity, public policy, and community development—instead of joining political thuggery.

Di dialogue wey get theme “Different Contexts, Common Aspirations” na di Nigeria Police Force organize am to celebrate International Youth Day 2026.

Di campaign slogan for di event na “My Future is Greater than Political and Digital Thuggery.”

Disu in warning come as pipo dey prepare for di 2027 election cycle.

Di police boss, wey urge youths make dem no allow politicians use dem, talk say Nigeria in diversity—for ethnicity, religion, geography, culture, and political affiliation—no suppose make young pipo forget dia common aspirations.
