Di National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP) for Nigeria don begin proper investigation into di matter of four pikin wey dem allegedly traffic from Adamawa State go Nasarawa State.

Di Nasarawa State Commandant of NAPTIP, Sa'adatu Galadima, reveal dis mata while dem dey parade two pipo wey dey involved for di pikin trafficking on Thursday for Lafia, wey be di state capital.

According to her, di traffickers wey dem identify as Asabe Bedan (wey be 33 years) and Calpurnia Ogianfen (wey be 40 years), dem catch dem by DSS operatives as dem dey travel from Karu Local Government Area for Nasarawa State go Edo State.

She tok say di early investigation don show say di two pipo don traffic more dan 20 pikin from Adamawa go Edo and Lagos States.

"Dem intercept di suspects for Karu LGA on February 25 as dem dey try move di pikin go Edo State. As we don begin proper investigation, we go get more information wey go make us take dem go court.

"So I dey beg parents make dem dey careful with di pipo wey dem dey relate with, because human traffickers dey live among family, guardians, and neighbors," she explain.

She still add say di agency don make serious progress for stopping human trafficking for di state, and she tok say di command go increase dia efforts to wipe out dis bad tins wey be human trafficking.
