Kuku talk dis one during her closing speech for ACI Africa Regional Conference & Exhibition wey hold for Luanda, where she explain how Nigeria dey shine for Africa aviation sector.
Di conference bring togeda aviation big players from across Africa, wit di theme “Stronger Airports, Stronger Africa,” wey focus on how to strengthen airport infrastructure, partnership, and innovation to grow di economy.
While she dey talk, Kuku describe airports as important national assets wey no be just transit points, but dem help trade, tourism, create jobs, and connect different regions.
“Di future of Africa aviation no go only depend on infrastructure, but also on partnership, innovation, resilience, and di mind to tink long-term,” she tok, as she thank Angola govment and pipo, airport authorities, and ACI Africa Secretariat for hosting di event.
She also shout out Sociedade Gestora de Aeroportos (SGA) for making di conference successful.
Talking about Nigeria performance, Kuku reveal say Murtala Muhammed International Airport get 11.8% growth for air traffic movements for 2025, di highest among Africa top airports. Di airport also dey among di best for cargo, wit 34.4% increase, wey be di highest inside top 10.
For domestic traffic, both Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport and Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos, rank among Africa top 10 busiest airports.
Using data from Official Airline Guide, she stress say Nigeria position as Africa second-largest domestic passenger market show say di country dey become important big player for aviation, logistics, and business for di continent.
“Dese no be just numbers,” Kuku note. She continue, “Dem show how Nigeria dey grow well-well as key aviation, logistics, and business hub for Africa.”
