Aidha, karibia kikosi kizima cha Afcon 2023 kimeachwa nje ya timu ya timu hiyo ya Taifa Stars huku baadhi tu ya walioshiriki Dimba hilo akiwemo Ben Anthony Starkie (Ilkeston-England), Tarryn Allarakhia (Wealdstone – England) na Mohammed Ali Omar Sagaf (Boreham Wood – England), wakidumishwa kikosini.
Wachezaji hao waliotajwa, ambao wengi wakiwa ni vijana na chipukizi, wamepewa fursa na Kocha Hemedi Suleiman 'Morocco,' ambaye alichukua nafasi hiyo ndani ya Kombe la Afcon, na ana matumaini waterejesha imani yake kwa kupata matokeo mazuri kwenye mechi zao mbili za kirafiki dhidi ya Sudan nchini Saudi Arabia.
