Inside one statement on X, Olusegun talk say di salary increase suppose boost di morale of military personnel.
"I can categorically confirm say personnels of di Nigerian Military don now start to receive dia newly increased salaries as approved by President @officialABAT in August," di presidential aide write.
"Another critical factor wey dem expect to boost di morale of our frontline forces as we continue to win di war against insecurity."
In August, Tinubu approve new salary package for armed forces personnel.
Bayo Onanuga, special adviser to di president on information and strategy, talk say di salary increase range from 30 to 80 percent, depending on rank.
Onanuga talk say about 250,000 personnel go benefit from di package, wey take effect on September 1.
E talk say officers wey pass di rank of colonel, including brigadier generals, major generals, lieutenant generals and generals, go receive 30 percent salary increase.
E add say personnel from colonel down to warrant officer go get 50 percent increase, while those from private to staff sergeant go receive 80 percent increase.
