President Bola Tinubu don reaffirm Nigeria commitment to strengthen security cooperation wit dia neighbor Chad and don promise renewed joint action to fight terrorism and banditry across Lake Chad region.

According to am, Nigeria and Chad remain critical partners under di Multinational Joint Task Force (MNJTF), wey dem set up to confront terrorism and oda transnational threats for Lake Chad Basin.

“Our discussions centre on di security challenges wey dey face our region. Chad na critical partner for MNJTF, and together, we don resolve to combat terrorism, eliminate acts of terror and ensure di safety and sovereignty of our nations,” di President talk.
