Nigeria don officially throway eye for one seat for di United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC) from 2027 go 2029.

Di Minister of Foreign Affairs, Yusuf Tuggar, announce di bid for one video statement. E tok say di council na important platform where countries dey dialogue, prevent wahala, and cooperate.

Tuggar stress say Nigeria still dey ready to work well well with di council, especially for di areas of promoting and protecting human rights across di world.

E also talk about di government plan to provide money for safe schools and make sure say children dey safe, especially with di security challenges wey dey.

"Wede dey strengthen accountability through di ongoing reforms and working with regional and international partners to make sure say internal security operations dey follow human rights and humanitarian standards, especially to protect civilians," e explain.

Tuggar add say, "Nigeria no dey joke with freedom of religion and belief. We believe say di peace between different faiths na di foundation of our unity. We still dey committed to make sure say every citizen, no matter dia tribe or religion, get justice protection."

Di minister tok also say di economic reforms, national social investment programmes, and digital economy dey play big part to create better environment for development.
