Mataimakin shugaban kasar Ghana Mahamudu Bawumia da tsohon shugaban kasar John Dramani Mahama na daga cikin 'yan takara 13 da aka amince da su a zaben shugaban kasa a shekara ta 2024, in ji hukumar zabe a ranar Juma'a.
A ranar 7 ga watan Disamba ne masu kada kuri'a a kasar wadda ke samar da zinari da koko za su kada kuri'unsu domin zaben wanda zai gaji shugaba Nana Akufo-Addo, wanda zai sauka daga mulki a watan Janairu bayan ya cika shekaru takwas da kundin tsarin mulkin kasar ya ba shi dama.
Tsohon shugaban kasar Mahama, mai shekaru 65, yana wakiltar babbar jam'iyyar adawa ta NDC, sai kuma Bawumia, mai shekaru 60 kwararre a fannin tattalin arziki kuma tsohon ma'aikacin babban bankin kasar, yana wakiltar jam’iyya mai mulki ta NPP ta shugaban ƙasar mai ci a halin yanzu wato Nana Akufo-Addo.
Babu wata jam’iyya da ta yi wa’adin mulki fiye da biyu a jere a tarihin dimokuraɗiyyar Ghana.
Mata a takarar shugaban ƙasa
Hukumar ta ce ta kuma amince da takarar Alan John Kwadwo Kyerematen, tsohon ministan kasuwanci da masana’antu wanda ya yi murabus daga jam’iyya mai mulki ya tsaya a matsayin ɗan takara mai cin gashin kansa, sai kuma Nana Kwame Bediako, wani dan kasuwa da ke takara a karon farko domin neman mukami. Sai kuma Nana Akosua Frimpomaa, daya daga cikin mata biyu a takarar.
A ranar Talata ne jam'iyyar NDC ta Mahama ta gudanar da zanga-zanga a fadin kasar don nuna rashin amincewa da wasu kura-kuran da ake zargin an tafka, tana mai cewa hukumar zabe ta sauya wa masu kada kuri'a rumfunan zabe ba tare da saninsu ba.
Zarge-zargen sun ƙara ɓata sunan hukumar zaɓen ƙasar ganin cewa mutane da dama a ƙasar ba su da tabbaci a kanta.
Wani bincike da kungiyar bincike ta Afrobarometer ta gudanar a watan Yuli ya nuna cewa mutane da dama sun yanke ƙauna da hukumar zaɓen ta Ghana tun daga shekarar 1999.
