Dis one dey come as Nigeria welcome China's decision to extend zero-tariff treatment to 100 percent of tariff lines for African countries.

She describe di initiative as one big opportunity to speed up industrialisation, create jobs and drive structural economic transformation across di continent.

Di seminar, wey get theme, ‘China’s Zero-Tariff Treatment on 100 per cent of Tariff Lines for African Countries and its Implications for Structural Economic Transformation for Africa’, examine di opportunities and challenges wey dey come from China's expanded market access for African products.

Di Minister commend Centre for China Studies and di Embassy of di People’s Republic of China for organising di seminar, and she describe di zero-tariff policy as one historic development wey fit help shift Africa-China relations from "aid and loans" to "trade and production."

She describe duty-free access to di Chinese market of about 1.4 billion people as one "game-changer" for Nigeria's agro-processing, textiles, solid minerals and manufacturing sectors.

She talk say di Nigerian Investment Promotion Commission (NIPC) and oda relevant agencies dey ready to work wit Chinese investors to set up factories for Nigeria to produce goods wey dem go export to China.
