Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) presidential candidate, Peter Obi, don call on di Federal Government and oda relevant authorities to take urgent steps to stop di continuous killings and insecurity wey dey happen across di country.

Obi make di call for one statement wey im share on im official X handle yesterday, as im dey react to di news of 32 Nigerians wey dem kill for Ungushi, Sokoto State, and di recent attacks for Ukum, Benue State, where plenty pipo reportedly die and oda pipo wound.

Im describe di incidents as "deeply painful," and im stress say di victims no be just numbers—dem be parents, children, and pipo wey dey provide for dia families, and dia death don leave families and communities for serious pain.

Im talk: "Make we end this cycle of killings. Di killings for Ungushi, Sokoto, where 32 Nigerians reportedly lose dia lives, and di recent attacks for Ukum, Benue, where more lives don lost and plenty oda pipo wound, dey deeply painful. We no fit continue wit dis cycle of killings, condolences, promises, and no action. Di government for all levels must make insecurity dia number one priority.
