Ilugbadebo Oyebola tell TheCable say dem ask am to clean blood-stained hospital floor soon afta she give birth. Oyebola describe di 11 years wey she spend for di country wit her family as "traumatic" becos dem no get proper documents.
"My husband dey South Africa for 12 years becos actually, I and my son go meet am for 2015. So from dat time till now, na from one struggle go anoda — no stable job, becos we no get permit," she talk.
Oyebola add say she hardly see care from South Africans during her stay.
"I give birth to two of my daughters for South Africa. I get my son here for Nigeria before I move go join my husband for South Africa for 2015. When I give birth to my first daughter, I feel so bad becos on di day I born, dem ask me to clean hospital floor," she talk.
"Immediately I give birth, I start to bleed so one of di nurses come dere. Di moment she dey talk to me for one of dia languages and she notice say I no fit answer, dat tell am say I be foreigner.
"She start to tell me to clean di floor. You fit imagine dat trauma — dat psychological trauma wey show say dem no want me here. Dem treat me like I no be human just becos I no be South African."
