Somalia's President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud says his country now has close ties with neighbouring Ethiopia after tensions eased, thanks to Türkiye's mediation efforts which saw the two countries sign a peace deal known as the Ankara Declaration in 2024. President Mohamud spoke at the Antalya Diplomacy Forum 2026, which ends on 19 April.
