Investigations into a helicopter crash that killed prominent Zimbabwean businessman Wicknell Chivayo, his wife and three others will include international experts, a state-run media outlet reports quoting the information minister.

The helicopter came down in the Marondera area, east of Harare, on Wednesday last week killing all on board.

Information Minister Zhemu Soda said on Tuesday that preliminary on-site investigations had been concluded, with the wreckage recovered and taken to a hanger for forensic examination that will involve international experts, the Herald news website reports.

Investigators will seek to establish the circumstances and possible causes of the crash.

The findings will be made public, Soda said.
